President Marcos has named Ma. Belen Ringpis-Liban as new presiding justice of the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA), effective Dec. 17, replacing Roman Del Rosario, who retired from the post in October.

In 2013, Ringpis-Liban was appointed associate justice of the CTA.

Before that, she served as presiding judge of Branch 85 of the Malolos Regional Trial Court and as a Quezon City acting presiding judge.

She also worked in the Office of the Solicitor General and the Court of Appeals.
