Two alleged high-value drug suspects were arrested in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, on Friday after yielding an estimated P27.6-million worth of suspected “shabu,” police reported.
Police Regional Office-Davao Region director Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete said the suspects, identified only by their aliases, “Gang” and “Cesar,” were apprehended in a joint buy-bust in Barangay San Francisco.
Authorities seized from the suspects several sachets and knot-tied plastic packs containing about 4,060 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P27,608,000.
Marked money
Also recovered were a genuine P1,000 bill used as marked money, P100,000 in boodle money, and two bags.
The suspects are detained at the Panabo City Police Station, which will file cases for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
